Jacqueline Wilson has one many awards for her amazing books. People all round the world are reading her books.
She wrote her own screen adaptation of Double Act for Channel 4, which won the Royal TV Society Best Children's Fiction Award, and The Story of Tracy Beaker has had three television series. In 2002, Jacqueline Wilson was awarded an OBE for services to literacy in schools, and in 2005, became the Children's Laureate. In 1993 Red house children's books awards gave Jacqueline an award for her excellant book called the Suitecase Kid. After that day the awards just kept comming to her.
